The Whittingham Quilt
The Whittingham Quilt from Christopher Wilson Tate
This coverlet originated from Whittingham in Northumberland England, a very lovely, ancient village dating back over 900 years. Christopher Wilson-Tate purchased it from Elizabeth Fraser in Whittingham. The coverlet was given to her by her grandmother many years before. This quite unique design had been passed down through the family from the mid-Victorian times circa 1840 / 1850.
The pattern is presented as a 12-page booklet in English and French with all instructions. The finished quilt measures 255 cm x 240 cm. From Quiltmania.
