These shirting fabrics have been produced by Paula Barnes for Marcus Fabric. These shirtings are typical of the shirting fabrics from toward the end of the 1800's, when American mills were producing copious amounts of roller printed cottons. This newly available cloth, meant lower class people could afford to make and wear clothing from these beautiful prints for the first time. Price is per metre.
