Unfortunately my husband has suffered a bad injury, breaking his ankle and leg. The timing is awful, we are in the first few weeks of calving on our dairy farm. I now have to manage the farm full time, so I have decided to temporarily close both this shop and also the physical shop at Nullawarre, hopefully for just a short few weeks. I am really sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
I am just home from my annual trip to AQC (Australasian Quilt Convention), where I released my brand new pattern, Maggie Maguire's Garden. The quilt features 168 fussy cut hexagon flowers, set around a centre appliqué of birds and flowers. It is made by hand using the English Paper Piecing method. At convention I sold fabric packs for starting the quilt, these will be available here on the website again soon.
It is great to have Max and Louise Pattern Co's newest range Yarra Valley on the shelves. This designing duo from Melbourne are doing fabulous reproductions, with Yarra Valley including a lovely mint colour, as we have seen in the original Dear Jane quilt, but reproduced by very few designers. It joins bolts from Carrie Quinn's, Charlotte c. 1860. Soon to arrive is Rochester, Di Ford-Hall's latest range. I believe it is not far off being available.
I do hope you have time to sit and wonder around the pages of this site. I specialise in reproduction fabric and fabric suited to producing quilts from a past era. I strive to offer high quality fabric, tools and service so you in turn can make exquisite quilts for your family and friends to enjoy for many years to come. If there is anything you cannot find or need assistance with, please do not hesitate to drop me an email or give me a call. I am more than happy to take your order over the phone if on-line ordering is proving too difficult. Thanks for visiting, I do hope to see you again. Regards, Lenora.
